Welcome to the September 2026 US industry release schedule blog post which covers the latest home video anime releases for United States and Canada from distributors AnimEigo, Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, Discotek Media, GKIDS/TOHO and Sentai Filmworks.
These news posts are generally released once Crunchyroll or Sentai had revealed their line-up which is often announced first between 14th-18th every month, though delays can occur. The post will then be updated to include any new AnimEigo, Aniplex of America, Discotek Media and GKIDS/TOHO releases when available.
Each title below will have links when available, and all prices listed below don’t include VAT or Customs. Finalised artwork will be presented below when available (with some exceptions). With the exception for Amazon, Crunchyroll Store and Sentai Store only ship domestically for US & Canada (for international fans, I recommend checking out Stackry to forward the items to them so they can be sent to your area).

| Originally supposed to have been released last year, AnimEigo ran into some complications and made the decision to release the OVA series without artwork on the packaging and disc label (artwork approvals were holding back the release, as the disc contents itself were completed). To make the situation worse, the license expires in Spring 2027 so this will be a limited release and may be stuck in licensing hell potentially for a long period of time. The disc is region free and international fans are recommended to import this release before it discontinues. |
