The UK scene for Asian Cinema has grown in recent years thanks to many independent distributors:

The types of films that have been brought over include iconic Hong Kong classics, niche Japanese films and many well-received titles making their way to the UK for the first time. While we don’t see that much Korean films nowadays due to many of them landing on streaming platforms (most notably Netflix), many of the Japanese & Chinese films often manage to reach the UK whenever possible.
