The delayed December items finally arrived from the 12 Days of Christmas sale by Anime Limited. The first is a Sentai Filmworks license that was brought over to the UK.
Aoharu x Machinegun (Aoharu × Kikanjuu) is a 2015 television anime series based on the manga series written and illustrated by NAOE. The anime was adapted by studio Brain’s Base and published by TBS. The anime series aired in the Summer 2015 season.
When Aoharu x Machinegun aired in Japan, it was simulcasted in the UK & Ireland through the streaming service Viewster which was added on behalf of Anime Limited. It wasn’t the most logical choice and eventually, the series was delisted so there is currently no legal way to stream in the UK & Ireland.
Fortunately as Anime Limited has the rights, they were able to release it on Blu-ray and DVD. Sentai Filmworks acquired the rights for the US & Canada and released it with an English dub. Neither distributors offered any form of special collector’s edition treatment so what you have is a regular standard release.
Released in August 2018, Aoharu x Machinegun from Anime Limited contains the entire series (12 episodes total) and an OVA across two Blu-ray discs using the Sentai Filmworks master. The audio options available include the Sentai Filmworks English dub and the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. The yellow subtitles are locked during playback, and the discs are locked to Region B Blu-ray players.

Plot Synopsis (via Anime Limited):
“When Hotaru Tachibana storms into a host club to avenge the honor of a wronged female student, the last thing Hotaru expects is to duel the club’s most popular host with airsoft guns instead of fists.
When Masamune Matsuoka’s experience wins out over Tachibana’s brawn, he realizes that he can use his victory (and the large bill for damaging the club) to make Tachibana join his struggling Survival Gaming team. However, what ladies’ man Masamune totally misses is that his unwilling new guy… isn’t a guy at all!
Under the boy’s clothing and strong need to defend justice, Tachibana is all-girl, but, for a number of complicated reasons, she absolutely CAN’T expose that fact to Masamune or his teammate, the erotic manga artist Toru Yukimura.
