Funimation has properly begun to unleash their catalog of anime from the Autumn 2018 season; featuring fan favourites Goblin Slayer and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Sentai Filmworks had delayed their line-up a little bit but they are bringing DanMachi’s film to home video at the very least.
For this post, I’ll be rounding up all of the new releases between these two distributors for the month of October 2019.
Note: This solicitations post has been updated as of 20th September to reflect adjustments to the upcoming schedule.
Each title has been color-coded to represent which distributor they belong to:
- Orange – Licensed by Crunchyroll, but distributed by Funimation
- Purple – Licensed and distributed by Funimation
- Blue – Licensed and distributed by Sentai Filmworks and Section23 Films

Sentai Filmworks’ Sunrise haul has been in limbo for years and yet the only one that had survived was The Big O. So far in Japan Sunrise have released Betterman, The Girl Who Leapt Through Space, Infinite Ryvius, Kurokami: The Animation, Overman King Gainer, s-CRY-ed, Sacred Seven, and Zegapain on Blu-ray. The ones that currently don’t have one are Argentosoma, Brain Powered, and Z-MIND.
