Looks like Funimation is trying to bring a whole bunch of Crunchyroll titles onto the Essentials line-up for this month, meanwhile, Sentai Filmworks offers another limited edition box set release among a couple re-releases.
For this post, I’ll be rounding up all of the new releases between these two distributors for the month of September 2019.
UPDATE: Funimation has delayed the releases for both Akashic Records and Seven Mortal Sins (both are Essentials re-releases) for a later date. But for retrospective sake, I’ll keep the original date and specs below with an added revised date listed next to it.

Sentai Filmworks’ Sunrise haul has been in limbo for years and yet the only one that had survived was The Big O. So far in Japan Sunrise have released Betterman, The Girl Who Leapt Through Space, Infinite Ryvius, Kurokami: The Animation, Overman King Gainer, s-CRY-ed, Sacred Seven, and Zegapain on Blu-ray. The ones that currently don’t have one are Argentosoma, Brain Powered, and Z-MIND.
