There’s been a lot of change over the past month between these two distributors in terms of licensing. One is that Funimation has ended its partnership with Crunchyroll so there will be a bunch of titles in limbo for home video, meanwhile, Sentai Filmworks will have a Blu-ray only layout from here on and they’re licensing more than the usual.
For this post, I’ll be rounding up all of the new releases between these two distributors for the month of February 2019.
Each title has been colour-coded to represent which distributor they belong to:
- Orange – Licensed by Crunchyroll, but distributed by Funimation
- Purple – Licensed and distributed by Funimation
- Blue – Licensed and distributed by Sentai Filmworks and Maiden Japan
