We’re ending the year with a couple big anime releases, from Cyberpunk Edgerunners & Dan Da Dan all the way to Perfect Blue in 4K. In addition there’s also re-releases and Steelbooks in the mix.

Otaku Collection Haul for September 2025

Before Category III was introduced, Lam Nai-Choi adapted one of Dr Yuen’s novels into live-action with tons of gore and a fun wacky action adventure to go with it. 88 Films produced this special release back in 2022 and I’ve decided to check it out now.

Lo Wei and Lau Hung-Chuen produced a horror film that goes to the extreme thanks to demons and spirits. This 1983 film eventually received the Category III film rating post-release, and 88 Films brought the film over to the UK with style.
