Q3 2025 Solicitations for UK Anime Home Video Releases

Welcome to the third quarter of 2025’s release slate for anime in the UK.

The distributors covered in this batch will be from Anime Limited, Crunchyroll UK and MVM Entertainment. This batch will cover all of the releases scheduled for July, August & September of 2025. Any delays will be listed under the release date adjustments section above the line-up, which tends to happen.

Each title below will have retailer links when available, and the artwork featured I always provide the finalised version whenever possible (so if a title doesn’t have artwork then what’s shown on other sites isn’t final, though some non-final artwork may be displayed here if the release came out without any updated artwork).

The schedule below is updated as of Wednesday 1st October 2025.

    I was confused on one release, in which I was sure it was already in production – Fate/Stay as a complete series was already released. What’s special about this one (esp that they have to break it up into 2 parts)?

      MVM lost the license for Unlimited Blade Works and recently they were able to re-license the series for a UK release, though they were only allowed to release it as a two-part release if they wanted to go for the standard edition format. The complete series set released before their license expired was a collector’s edition which was around £90-100 SRP last I checked.

        That is sooo very interesting! I’m glad you know that kind of stuff! I get spun around so often when I see the various anime vendors promoting ‘new releases’ like this. It always makes me wonder if my collection was lacking it in the first place or maybe I have a different version. I think I have that collector’s edition that you spoke of, but I noticed (strangely enough) that I have a I and II separately too (they are roughly 1-inch thick apiece). I guess I got over zealous during the previous christmas sales! Your information network is insane, thank you very much!

        Oh, related to your details about letting go of your DVD R.O.D, was any part of your decision influenced by a possible blu-ray release in the future? I’m hoping you’ve heard something in the wind that this might happen, I’d be all over that!
