It is almost December and if you have been part of the UK anime scene, you would know that it is almost time for the well-beloved anime sale that is basically the UK equivalent of Rightstuf’s sales altogether.
As I have provided notes over on the Anime UK News forum, I figured a blogpost version would also be useful as a backup just in case. The general idea is simple, I will note down how both of the distributor’s sales work, and a list of every title (primarily Blu-ray releases) that appear.
Both will start on Monday 1st December until Saturday 12th December (with the final sale offerings concluding the next day).
AllTheAnime store (Anime Limited products)
- Starts 5:00pm GMT, non-early bird titles will last until 4:59pm GMT on Sunday 13th December.
- Day 1 is Mystery Box offering and a majority of the regular, collector’s and ultimate sets. They’re switching things around this year.
- 11 Early Birds will be presented throughout, one per day, starting Day 2.
- 10% discount on first order if you use E-Mail Newsletter.
- 15% discount on first order if you have an annual membership with Screen Anime. Regular 10% discount will apply afterwards. Minimum £50.

- The items on offer don’t last all day so if there is a particular series you want to acquire, order sooner.

Mystery Box Predictions:
One common theme for each Christmas sale is the mystery box bundle. I will mainly be focusing on the Blu-ray format as those are easier (and more commonly chosen) to predict. MVM does have two mystery boxes for both formats, though its estimation list is massive so I decided to not focus on that for this post (you can however, view it on my forum thread version instead). Anime Limited moved the mystery box from Day 12 to Day 1 for very good reasons (we’re too good at guessing).
As of Saturday 5th December, the Blu-ray Mystery Box titles have been revealed. You can check out the original predictions which are striked out like this and also the titles included which are highlighted in bold and italic like this. These titles will not join the 12 Days of Christmas sale.
