August 2020 Solicitations for US Anime Home Video Releases

The global pandemic continues to disrupt the release slates for Funimation, but from here on I’ll be rebranding the solicitation posts to include Discotek when they eventually reveal them. Meanwhile Sentai drops the Filmworks name.

Each title has been colour-coded to represent which distributor they belong to:

• Orange – Crunchyroll license
• Red – Discotek Media license (will be updated later from the others)
• Purple – Funimation license
• Blue – Sentai, Maiden Japan licenses

Funimation generally reveals their titles around 14th-16th each month, Sentai generally reveals theirs between 18th-25th each month, and Discotek reveals theirs around the first week of the next month. Of course for this month, it’s a much more delayed case due to the global situation.
