One of the many anime acquired during the Anime Limited 12 Days of Christmas sale. This is the second part of the P.A. Works series.

Charlotte is a 2015 original anime series animated by P.A. Works and published by Aniplex. The show is also known for being written by Jun Maeda, who also wrote CLANNAD & Angel Beats as well as a number of other Key titles.
Charlotte had a lot of hype when it first simulcasted, and it eventually died down when the show ended due to the same issues that affected Angel Beats. The second half is where things start to go crazy while also rushed. The last episode, in particular, could have been worth another few more episodes but was condensed to death. A missed opportunity in my opinion.
Aniplex of America released the series in North America across two volumes, and Anime Limited followed the format to speed up the pace for the UK release. Unlike ALDNOAH ZERO, the anime was authored well with the masters being close to the Aniplex release.
The UK Collector’s Edition release covers the second half of the series with episodes 8-13 plus an OVA episode across a disc per format. The release feature both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. The discs are region locked to B and the subtitles are unlockable during playback.
