March comes in like a Lion Season 1 Part 1 (Collector’s Edition Blu-ray) Unboxing

The release of March comes in like a Lion finally made it to the UK and here’s the first part of this well-loved anime.

March comes in like a Lion (Sangatsu no Lion) is a 2016 anime series from studio SHAFT and publisher Aniplex, based on the 2007 manga series written and drawn by Chika Umino. While SHAFT is behind the adaptation, the anime series is more known by the community for its story which has been well-received by viewers. At the time of this writing, the anime has two seasons with 22 episodes each.

For streaming and home video to the surprise of no one, Aniplex of America have the rights. They released the anime across two volumes per season with 11 episodes each and also comes with an English dub. The UK release of the anime has been brought over by Anime Limited and they have essentially replicated the packaging and discs with a couple tweaks.

This collector’s edition release contains the first eleven episodes of the anime’s first season across 3 Blu-ray discs housed inside a rigid box and a digipack. The episodes are available to watch in both English & Japanese audio with unlockable English subtitles. The discs are Region B locked during playback.
