The Testament of Sister New Devil Burst (Collector’s Edition Blu-ray) Unboxing [NSFW]

The Testament of Sister New Devil Burst (Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst) is the second season to the television anime series The Testament of Sister New Devil, which is also based on Tetsuto Uesu’s light novel series. The anime’s second season was adapted by studio Production IMS and published by Kadokawa Pictures. It aired during the Autumn 2015 season in October.

Sister New Devil is an ecchi harem series and is probably one of the more raunchy titles to be adapted and released on home video completely uncut and uncensored for the English territories. For the UK it has been released with an 18 rating uncut/uncensored without any issues. The ecchi-ness that is shown in this series is considered borderline hentai for the most part.

Matching the first season and almost with the Funimation release, the collector’s edition offers the traditional Anime Ltd style packaging with a rigid box and digipack as well as an uncensored ecchi artbook, the same version used for the Funimation release. Compared to Season 1, the artwork used is weaker but the booklet has improved (yes it has nudity in it this time).

Released in October 2018, The Testament of Sister New Devil Burst from Anime Limited contains the entire second season (episodes 1-10) across two Blu-ray discs. The audio options available include the main Japanese language with English subtitles as well as the Crunchyroll English Dub. The white subtitles are locked during playback, and the discs are region locked for B Blu-ray players.

As of 2020, The Testament of Sister New Devil Burst collector’s edition Blu-ray is no longer available, but a standard edition Blu-ray can be ordered on Amazon UK.
